An early Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone. I have my fingers crossed that my husband will try to be just a little romantic this year, lol.

This month “A Master’s Love” is being released. Here is a little about the book

After Seth’s visit to Master Drake’s island, he wanted nothing more than to be called Master. He seeks out Master Falcon, the slave trader, to purchase the submissives he so craved. He doesn’t see there is more to being a Master than just owning slaves. Master Falcon’s price is quite high. He wants Seth to bring him Master Dante’s favorite slave Bazil and he wants Leon back from Master Drake. If Seth can do this Falcon will train the slaves that he will give to Seth. Seth gets Falcon what he wants. Now Master Drake and Dante will do anything to get their submissives back. Falcon knows this, he is counting on it. He wants Drake and Dante to pay for shunning him.

“A Master’s Love” will be released on Feb 8th.

Jan 2008 Newsletter

Happy New Year Everyone!


This year is going to be a busy year for me. I have a lot of New Year’s resolutions. This year I plan on keeping all of them.

My youngest son graduates this year and he just told me he has asked his girlfriend to marry him. Needless to say I about fell over with that news. Thankfully they are having a nice long engagement. My oldest son continues on with college and my daughter is very active in many sports and hobbies. I will be joining a gym this year, not only to get into shape, but to get out of this house a few times a week. I tell you what, when you are a writer you spend a lot of time alone working.

I have decided to put the anthology on hiatus this year. After careful consideration I felt this was the best course of action to take. I have so much going on with my writing career this year that I simply won’t have the time to devote to the anthology. I will still have guest writers and poets featured on my website.

I will be at the Romantic times book convention’s Independent Publisher’s expo on April 16th this year. This will be my first book signing. I’m a little nervous, but excited all at the same time.

Some of the book releases planned this year are “A Master’s Love” which is part of the Master series and will be released in Feb. I will have “My Warrior” available in eBook format. A new book in the Barbarians of Malka series will be released in July. Plus I will be starting a brand new series and releasing a couple of single title books as well.

I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season :)

We are keeping Christmas simple this year at my home. The emphasis is more on the holiday than on the presents. Of course there will be presents, but I have set a limit on the money that can be spent on them. With the money saved we are going to go out and do something as a family, instead of having more stuff that will more than likely end up in a closet or gathering dust.

Hello Everyone,

Happy Thanksgiving this month to my USA readers, I have a lot to be thankful for this year :) My oldest son turns 19 on Nov 9th and my daughter turns 11 on the 19th this month, a busy birthday month.

"Kiss the Moment" will be released this month, yay!

Here is a little about the book:

Rage and Shadow, Master Drake’s newest male pets had no idea how much a pair of guests were going to change their lives. Brenda brings out Rage’s submissive side, where as her twin sister Kitty brings out Shadow’s dominant side.

Happy dance time

Me and my husband went a poker tourney this last weekend and I came in third, yay! This was my first real life tourney, I play online every now and then. It was fun.

I have been working the erotic shiver "Rapture", but it has developed into a more of a novel than a erotic shiver. I'm going to have to rename it to fit the book better. Once I start working on a story it takes on a life of its own. I am shooting for a Jan/feb release for the book.

The other book "Kiss the Moment" has been sent to the proof reader and cover designer. I'm looking forward to the release of this book :) The release date is set for Nov 5th.

Yay! "The Warrior's Heart" has been released on Ebook. It's available through Mobipocket and the Erotictales Yahoo store right now. Soon it will be available everywhere. The print book should be coming out in a couple of weeks.
I am always so exicted when a new book is released. It's time for wine and a whole lot of happy dancing :)

Well, I have done something I have never done before in my writing. I am working on "Kiss the Moment" and I had to completely redo one of the characters. I didn't like the way Seth was developing, it was throwing the whole story off. So I had to sit back and think about this character. After a few days it finally hit me what was wrong and went about redoing Seth. Now, his character fits the story in fact it really enhances it. It was quite a lot of work to redo everything, but I am glad I took the time to do it. Now that the storyline is back on track my muses are dancing, lol. I better get my butt back to work.

August 2007 Newsletter


Hello Everyone,

Summer is winding down and the kids are getting all worked up over going back to school. My oldest son starts college this fall, my youngest son will be a senior in high school and my daughter goes into 7th grade. And I am busy getting a promotional campaign for my books set up. Plus I have begun work on “Kiss the Moment” which is another book in my Master Series.

"The Warrior's Heart" will be released this month. The e-book should be released by Aug 10th and the print around Aug 20th. Here is a little about the book:

Tomar, the ruler of the Rundal people, discovered a planet called Loma. This planet has the same problem as the planet Malka, but in reverse, where as the Malka people lack females the Loma people lack males. Tomar is excited and travels to Loma to start talks with the Empress. Yet, when he arrives he soon finds that he may have made a mistake wanting to introduce the Loma females to the Malka males. The Empress wants Queen Rhaya’s village destroyed because of the male child born in that village. No male child has been born on Loma for a hundred years and the Empress sees this as a bad omen. Tomar uses his ships to transport the villagers to safety on Malka. But he stays by the Empress’s request.

On Malka the young warrior name Zenith has been chosen for the honor of being the trainer to Niro’s son Zenos. He gets introduced to the warrior women of Loma when Queen Rhaya shows up to meet with Niro. Petra the Queen’s guard is instantly attracted to Zenith, even though he works her last nerve by his arrogance. On Loma smaller, weaker males are desired, but Zenith is large and strong just like all the male warriors on Malka. Niro soon finds out his warriors are having trouble adjusting to the strong female warriors of Loma.

Ramiro, the son of Tomar, has been best friends with Zenith forever. He was named the grand general of the Rundal warriors. His duty is to train the Rundal warriors to fight along side of the barbarians. His older brother Alamaxa is being groomed to be the next ruler of the Rundal people and with Tomar away Alamaxa becomes the acting ruler. His first act as ruler is to command his brother Ramiro to choose a mate. Ramiro doesn’t want a Rundal female but is most curious about the human females. However, it is forbidden for a Rundal male to be with a human female.
Laigne, the weaker male servant to Niro’s mate Robin, can’t believe it when a large beautiful Loma female wants him. On Malka being a weaker male was the most undesirable thing there was. Weaker males in the Dascon clan became servants and playthings to the large male warriors which was considered lucky for in the Larmat clan they simply killed the weaker males.

“The Heart’s Eclipse” This story is an erotic shiver that I will be posting up in four parts. I would love to see this story turned into a graphic novel or maybe even an anime.

All Rakar knew was war. His whole life he was trained to become a General of the Sidana army. All the battles he has won, all the cruelty he is commanded to inflict, all of this has made Rakar a uncompassionate, cold man. But when Rakar is commanded to attack the small colony planet of Nunos he meets the man who will change his life forever.

Serin despised Rakar for destroying his planet and making him a personal slave. Yet, he finds himself drawn to Rakar. He is ashamed of his developing feelings for his captor. The more he tries to deny these feelings the more these feelings grow stronger.

Well I turned the big 40 yesterday. We celebrated last weekend. With my husband being a truck driver we hardly get to celebrate events on their actually days.

I got the usual oh you're getting old comments from family and friends. All in good fun though. But it's what my daughter said that put the biggest smile on my face. She said I didn't look like what she imagined forty to look like. Of course when I was eleven I thought forty was ancient, so I can just imagine what she imagined forty to look like. It was just so cute the way she said it.

I am taking this weekend off to take my family to the zoo and a picnic. It's so beautiful outside I would hate to waste it sitting around in the house all day.

July 2007 Newsletter


It's my birthday month. I turn forty on July 19th :) Me, forty, it's hard to believe. But I am okay with it. age is only a number. I wanted to have a big birthday bash to celebrate the next chapter of my life. However, the age thing seems to be bugging my husband. He can be an old poo if he wants. I plan on having a great time on my birthday.

On the writing front. "The Warrior's Heart" which is the next book in the Barbarians of Malka series will be released at the beginning of August. I was hoping for a July release date, but I am afraid that's not going to happen. This book is taking a little longer than I expected to write.

I think I am finally getting my rhythm back. These last few months have been so hectic. Finally there is some sort of normalcy around here.

I have been working on “The Warrior’s Heart” which is book four in the Barbarians of Malka Series. You will get to know more about the Rundal people in this book. I am really enjoying writing this book. There are three couples which the storyline revolves around. Each couple’s story intertwines with each other to really add to the story as a whole. This book is a bit more complex than the other three, but it’s really working. I was a bit nervous since there is so much going on in this story. One aspect, the romance between the Rundal male and human female, has proven to be the most difficult element of the story, but I am enjoying weaving this part into the whole story.

Alright I will stop babbling on. I am hoping for this book to be release at the end of July or the beginning of August.

This month me and my husband celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. Yep, we have officially been married for this side of forever, lol.

This month my husband celebrates his birthday. My oldest son graduates from High School at the end of the month. It's weird, you know, getting ready for your first child to graduate. Next year my youngest son graduates. My daughter, the baby of the family, doesn't graduate for five more years.

I have had several readers ask me if I was attending the Romantic Times book lovers convention this year. Due to personal reasons I will be unable to attend this year. I am disappoint. I was really looking forward to going this year. I wasn't expecting my life to get all frazzled, I guess it is the best word to describe it.

I will try like hell to make it to the next year's conference. The way things are going I probably won't make it do Dragon con this year either.

Right now I have to focus on getting my personal life straightened up. So much has happened over these last few months and so much is going to happen over the next few months. I have every confidence in myself that I will work through this and be stronger for it when everything is all said and done.

Of course I will continue writing. I love to write, it's my solace. I will be starting the new Barbarians of Malka book right after I finish up "Erotic Tales 2".
Speaking of "Erotic Tales 2" if you have a story or poem in this book and haven't sent me the contract or your bio please send those to me by the end of the month. I will be sending out story and poem proofs later on this week.

I am finished with reading submissions for "Erotic Tales 2" I have sent out my response to all stories and poems submitted. Oh man this was a hard one to pick stories for. There were over 150 submissions. So many good stories and poems, narrowing it down to 30 was extremely difficult. I try to give any kind of feedback I can to the stories that were rejected, but to be honest there wasn't really that many that needed feedback. Most were well written and the storylines were good, they just didn't fit with what I had envisioned for the anthology.

I have picked a nice variety of stories and poems that cover the gamut of erotica. Now I have to starting editing and formatting the book. I am going to start that next week. Easter weekend is almost here and I have a million little things to do to get ready for it.

Happy Easter! My kids have started their spring break and little do they know I have a lot of spring cleaning planned for this week, lol.

Me and the family went to see "300" this last Saturday. It was a pretty good movie. All those half naked hot men were worth the price of admission alone, lol. What I found fascinating was the fact that the story was being told to us and the way certain things were exaggerated just like it would if a storyteller was telling a story was very well done. I enjoy seeing how a plot is built and executed. I guess it's the writer in me. This movie was a bit gory in parts, but that is to be expected in a movie like this. All in all it was worth going to see at the movie theater.
Next weekend my kids start their spring break. My youngest son is going with his father on the road for a couple of days. He has been wanting to ride along with his dad in his semi truck since he was a little boy. I am glad my husband is finally taking him along for a short trip. I think during this spring break it would be a good time for some spring cleaning. I want to freshen everything up. maybe change some things around. I tell you what I need a change.
"With These Chains" will be released by April 4th and I have started work on a series of four stories that all revolve around the Master/submissive lifestyle. Each story will tell a different aspect of this lifestyle.
Plus during spring break I will be working on "Erotic Shivers 2" I have a lot of story submissions to read through. It's always so hard picking the right ones to put in the book. I always get such wonderful stories to pick from. It looks like this year will be no different.
Well, I better get back to work. I have to get the next part of "My Warrior" ready for tomorrow's erotic moment for my yahoo group

I am finally done editing "With These Chains" and will be sending it off to my proofreader today. It seemed to take forever to get the story just right. I always get that 'it's done' feeling when I know the book is how I want it. Finally, I got that feeling with this book. I am hoping for a April 4 release for the book. Now I think I will take a couple of days off. I say that and my muses will bug the hell out of me to starting writing the next story, lol.

I am interested in sizzling hot stories, with great characters, interesting settings and solid storylines. No stories involving incest, bestiality, necrophilia or anything dealing with children, other than that anything goes.

Word count limit is 10,000 with a minimum of 1200. Poems have a word count limit of 10,000 with no minimum.

Payment is $25 for stories, and $10 for poems, plus a print copy of the book. I am asking for nonexclusive rights which mean you are free to submit your story elsewhere if you wish. Reprints are okay as long as you have the rights to the story.

You can submit stories now, but I won’t begin reading submissions until the beginning of April. The deadline is March 30, 2007, with an estimated release date of May 20, 2007. This book will be an e-book as well as a print book.

I don’t care how many writing credits you have it’s the story I go by, so I encourage new writers to submit stories. .

Today I have to go to my children's parent-teacher conferences. Normally this is a good thing,because by and large they do pretty well in school. However, my daughter's last report card wasn't the greatest and my oldest son has behavior issues. Between me and their teachers I am sure we can get them back into shape school wise.

We are finally getting DSL connection. It took long enough but it's now offered in our area. That's the problem when you live out in the middle of nowhere it takes forever for services to come out this way.

I am finishing up "With These Chains" and I am very happy with how the story has developed. I should begin editing it next week then it's off to the proof reader. I have also had a few really good story lines pop into my head. I am looking forward to plotting them out.

This weekend my family added to the zoo we already have. We got a baby bunny that we have named Sephiroth. He is so cute. I didn't plan on buying a bunny when I went into town to pick up some dog food, but once I saw the little bunny and that pleading look in my daughters eyes I found myself buying a bunny. The last time I had a bunny for a pet was when I was about eleven maybe even younger than that. So needless to say I had to look up on how to care for the little guy. So now we have three cats, three dogs, three chickens, two turtles, fish, and a baby bunny in our ever growing zoo.

Brrr! It's freaking cold outside.It's like -30 with windchill, yikes. I can't wait until Spring.

For those of you who have read my Demon Hunter Series I will be writing an Erotic Shiver which will tells the story of Tasmos the Archangel and his lost love Alisha.
If you read "Heavenly Surrender" you will remember how Alisha was murdered by the Archangel Kannon. In this new Erotic Shiver Tasmos will find her again. This story just popped into my head last night. Their story really does need to be told.

I am not sure when this Erotic Shiver will be released, but it will be sometime this year.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by everything going on in your life? That's what I am feeling today. On the writing front- I have so many projects I want to do this year. Quite honestly I don't know if I am going to be able to do them all. With me though once I set a goal I try my darnest to get it done. On the home front there is so much going on too. My oldest son is graduating this year, my youngest son graduates next year so they are both looking into colleges. And of course I am helping them out with this. We are looking into various schools, scholarships, student loans, etc. My oldest son wants to go to an art institute and my youngest wants to go to a technical college, he wants to work in the computer field.

My little girl has been pretty sick the last few days. I am taking her to the doctors today. I am pretty sure she has the flu, but I don't want to take any chances. I have to go to the doctor tomorrow,just a routine check up thank goodness, but still I hate going to the doctor. My husband is acting all depress over his weight. Getting him to eat properly and exercise is a challenge to say the least.

What I need is a small breather to regroup my thoughts. Get myself back on the right track.

Okay, enough whining on my part. My first priority is to get my little girl all better. I get so worried when my children are sick. While she is taking a nap today I will work on my book and lose myself in it.

Merry Christmas!

I am working on the finishing touches to "Erotic Shivers Volume I" I am hoping the book will be released by Dec 27th. This book is rather large it's about 350 pages long, so it will take a little more time than I anticipated to finish polishing it up. I got the cover proof for the book yesterday and it looks wonderful :) Thank goodness I got all my Christmas shopping, decorating etc. done so that I can spend most of my time finishing this book up. I am so looking forward to its release.

I just found out my short story "Watch and Wait" will be included in the anthology "Got a Minute" edited by Alison Tyler.

Time for my happy dance

This morning I have to go to the doctor. My thyroid levels are a bit off. No big deal really and I am thankful for that. My hand still bears the bruise from when the hospital drew blood a couple days ago. They always have a problem drawing blood, so it hurts like hell. I am glad my doctor’s appointment is in the morning that way I get it done and over with.

I am going to finish my Christmas shopping today. Thankfully I don’t have much left to do. This weekend I am going to decorate my house for the holidays. Strangely it doesn’t feel like Christmas, perhaps it is from the lack of snow. Whatever the case I hope I get into the holiday spirit soon.

I am plotting out several storylines. Since all these storylines are in my head at the moment I might as well get the basic outline of each storyline written down. That way I won’t forget any of them.

I have finished the erotic shiver “The Heart’s Ecplise” this was a challenging story to write. Here is a little about the story:
All Rakar knew was war. His whole life he was trained to become a General of the Sidana army. All the battles he has won, all the cruelty he is commanded to inflict, all of this has made Rakar a uncompassionate, cold man. But when Rakar is commanded to attack the small colony planet of Nunos he meets the man who will change his life forever.
Serin despised Rakar for destorying his planet and making him a personal slave. Yet, he finds himself drawn to Rakar. He is ashamed of his developing feelings for his captor. The more he tries to deny these feelings the more these feelings grow stronger.

My muses are driving me nuts. I have like three or four storylines that are roaming around in my head at the moment. Which one to start writing? I try to plan a release order for next year’s books, but I can only write whatever story that is more dominant in my mind. “In the Arms of Oblivion” seems to be pushing it’s way to the front of my mind. However I hadn’t plan on working on this story until late next year. I also have the storyline for “Whips, Silk Ropes and Roses” weaving together in my mind too. Arrgh…and not to mention the other two storylines in there too. I think I will spend today figuring out which storyline to write first. I like to keep writing and since I have finished “The Heart’s Ecplise” it’s time to move on to plotting out the next story.

Master Nikolai from the Master Series was a complex tale of dark desires, wounded souls, and those with the ability to heal them. The book was truly a treasure. I was sad to see my time with the characters end. Jacob was young and still trying to find his way in the world, which was bound to happen the longer he worked for Rose. The lady knew how to find trouble and she did just that with the new story they were researching. One minute Jacob was sure of his sexuality and the next he found beauty in the eyes of another man. If Rose were near, he would have vigorously until her senses returned. I found Jacob’s self-exploration sweet and refreshing. It felt as if I was finding out about the joys on life with him. Meanwhile, Rose was having troubles of her own. From the moment she entered Master Nikolai’s home, her life changed. My experience with Rose was different from Jacob. She had a stronger personality and that made for more fire in the bedroom. Even though, Master Nikolai was not a classic tale of romance, the connection between all of the characters was realistic. The plot kept me on the edge of my seat and the sex caused me to quiver

After a rather long four days I went to catch up on reading my emails and had a wonderful surprise. The first review for my book "Master Nikolai" recieved a 5 out 5 blue ribbons from the Romance Junkies! Needless to say I am thrilled by this. Below is a little of the review. Happy Thanksgiving

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving

My daugther's birthday is this Sunday, she will be eleven. She is already figuring out how she would like to spend her birthday money. She also wants to go bowling. This is about the only time I go bowling so needless to say I am not very good at it. Though I do enjoy playing the game. Needless to say it will be a busy weekend.


I am also making my Thanksgiving plans. We are trying to decide which relatives to visit this year or if we just want it to be our little family. Personally I would prefer it to be just our little family. Everything is up in the air at the moment.

My oldest son turned 18 yesterday. It’s strange that my little baby is now legally an adult. I feel so old today. Next year he is going off to college. My youngest son is 16, next year he becomes a senior in high school. He is already making college plans. My little girl, the baby in the family, is celebrating her 11th birthday next Sunday. Two birthdays in one month makes for a busy month, lol.

Today for some reason my husband’s usual lack of enthusiasm for planning the kids’ birthdays is really bugging the heck out of me. I do all the planning and he just shows up. I was talking on the phone with him last night about the upcoming birthday celebrations and that lackluster tone to his voice made me wish I could reach through the phone and punch him hard, especially since it’s a milestone birthday for my son. Arrgh! There now that I have vented a little I feel better now :)

I have been waiting for the print proof of “Master Nikolai” and looks like I should be getting it today : ) I just love holding my newest book in my hands. I get such a feeling of pride and accomplishment.

I have been working on two Erotic Shivers “Surrender” and “The Heart’s Eclipse”. These two have been particularly strange to write, because I have been working on both at the same time. It’s like they are both competing to get written at the same time. Normally, I like to focus on one story at a time. There may be new storylines that will pop into my head while I am working on a particular story, but I usually just write the storyline down and continue working on the story I have already started. Luckily both of these new stories are coming along fine. “Surrender” is being posted on my website a part at a time, there will be three parts in all. Part one is posted now.

“The Heart’s Eclipse” will go into my yahoo store as an Erotic Shiver. This story came out of my love for Yaoi, which are love stories between two men written by women for women. Though you have to be careful when choosing a Yaoi, quite a number of them involve an adult male with a teenage boy, those I don’t like. But when it’s two adult males in the story it is really hot. “The Heart’s Eclipse” is about the growing love between Serin and Rakar. Rakar is a Sidana warrior, this race of people spread fear throughout the galaxy. They invade colonies taking slaves, food, valuables and whatever they can’t use they kill or destroy. Serin is from the colony Nunos which gets attack by the Sidana warriors. Rakar is instantly attracted to the beautiful Serin and takes him as a slave. Serin at first despises Rakar, but soon the two slowly start to fall in love. Their love is forbidden and could cost both of them their lives. The challenge of this story will be showing the slow build from hate to love between the two men. If they fall in love too fast it won’t be believable. If it takes forever for the two to fall in love it just won’t work. I have to make sure to strike the right balance

It is always wonderful to receive a good review of my books, but to get two with such high praises in the same week is amazing. Plus on top of this I have received several emails from readers telling me how much they enjoy my books, which is always fantastic to hear.

To tell you the truth I really needed a week like this. It has rejuvenated my spirit.
I have been buried under of pile of promo stuff and it has seemed it’s has been one problem after another getting my new book released. There is going to be a delay in getting the print book out, which is just the newest problem. On top of all of this my oldest son gets diagnosed with Mononucleosis. At least I know why he has been so tired and not himself lately. I hope it clears up fast and with no complications. When I was a teenager I got Mononucleosis and it took almost a year for me to recovery from it. I really hope my son recovers much quicker than that.

So, yeah a week like this is just what I needed to catch my breath :)

Master Nikolai's Ebook has been released!

Those last three post were my attempted to read excerpts from my soon to be released novel "Master Nikola" I don't think it's too bad for my first attempt at this. I kept moving the microphone away from me as I read and I thought I read a little too fast at times.

The more I do this I am sure the better I will be at it :)

Today I get to write. I want to start work on the Erotic Shiver “Surrender” I have been so busy lining up promo stuff last week, getting ready for the release of “Master Nikolai” The release date is set for Oct 23 of course that is provided everything goes smoothly. If not then the book will be released a few days later. I still have a ton of promo work to do. But I really need to write.

You may have noticed the avatars on my website. I thought this was a fun idea. I got these on the sitepal website. I have one that welcomes you to my website, one on the erotic shiver page, one on the buy book page and one on the about me page. The one on the about me page is my actual voice, though I think I will redo that one. I was talking a little to fast I think.

I am also trying to get a pod cast ready. I am not the most technological adept person out there so it always takes a little while to figure out how things work.

Now I better get to work. I want to spend the morning writing and then work on the promo stuff more.

This weekend I had an impulse to change my writing (office) room. My little office isn’t that big and this room has been the same way since we moved here. And let me tell you this room was really ugly and didn’t really suit my taste at all. So, I went out to Lowes and bought some midnight blue (one of my favorite colors) paint. The ceiling in this room is an ugly drop ceiling, the kind that is found in schools, not the decorative kind. This was a bit of a problem. I really know little about putting up a new ceiling and my husband is the king of procrastination. By time he got around to putting a new ceiling up for me it would probably be this time next year. And he refuses to let me hire someone to help me out with it. So, I was stuck with this ugly drop ceiling. Then an idea came to me. I hurried down to the fabric store and bought some nice black cloth, this color would match the black bookshelf I have in my office. My son helped me put the cloth up on the ceiling to cover that nasty drop ceiling; at least this would be a temporary fix until my husband put the new ceiling up. And to my surprise it looks really good. I feel like I am in an exotic tent :) The midnight blue on the walls really shows off my framed book covers. The only thing I need now is a nice new desk. I know what Christmas present I will be asking my husband for, lol.

I keep having these recurring dreams of either someone is chasing me or that I have to escape from somewhere. These dreams have increased in intensity throughout this last year. Normally, my dreams are rather bizarre anyways, but I have harvested a few really good storylines and characters from these dreams. I keep a notebook next to my bed so I can write these dreams down.


The chasing and escape dreams apparently mean I am either afraid of something or that I need a change in my life. Of course each book about dream interpretation always states something different. I am a firm believer that our dreams are our subconscious mind trying to tell us something. There are some people who believe that our dreams are simply the time our minds are free to go down any mental road.

I am lucky that I do at least remember some of my dreams. Now if only those darn chasing and escape dreams would only stop. I swear I get more exercise in my dreams than I do when I am awake, lol

I just sent “Master Nikolai” off to the proof reader. I finally got that done feeling. The done feeling is when I have edited and re-edited then read the whole book through; when I reach the words ‘the end’ I have that feeling of completion. That is the done feeling. I never send a book to my proof reader until I get that done feeling. Of course, when my proof reader sends the book back she might find a hole in the plot that I didn’t see. That is why it’s always important to have a fresh pair eyes look over your work. When I get the book back from the proof reader and I have fixed any errors in it I send it off to my distributor. That is when I have a glass of wine (until I am done with my meds it has to be nonalcoholic wine) with my husband to celebrate the completion of my book.

The Erotic Shiver "His Eyes Wide Open" is available in my yahoo store www.justusrouxebooks.com This story will enhance my soon to be released book "Master Nikolai" I did intend to keep this erotic shiver and the erotic shiver "Curiosity Seduced the Woman" separate from the book "Master Nikolai" but I felt this story would be told better if all three pieces of these story were put together in one book. So these two erotic shivers will be included in the book "Master Nikolai” They will also be included in "Erotic Shivers Volume I" which will be released at the end of December. "Master Nikolai" is due to be released at the end of October.

I am finally getting over my stupid cold, thank goodness. I have so much to do and was having trouble concentrating with this cold.

I will probably spend the week writing and catching up on reading submissions for my website. I am looking forward to my author day tomorrow on Ebook love yahoo group.
I plan to giveaway three or four ebooks and a T-shirt, coffe mug and pillow with "A Song for my Warrior" cover on them. Plus I will be giving readers a sneek peak of "Master Nikolai" I will spend a good part of the day today planning for my author's day.

I have had a really good storyline for a new book kicking around in my head for awhile now. I am dying to write it too. The only problem is that the story involves vampires. When this story came to me, hell that was four years ago, the book market wasn’t overflowing with vampire stories. Now, however it seems every other book is about a vampire. So, I don’t really know what to do. Is there enough room for yet one more vampire story? I don’t want my book to get lost in the sea of other books. My book will have a different angle to the whole vampire thing, will this make it stand out?

I know as a reader I love reading books about vampires if the story is done right. Christine Feehan is one of my favorite authors and I love how she portrays vampires in her book. On the other hand, I have read way too many books where the vampire characters are basically the same as each other.

Of course if my muses want me to write this story I will have to : )

Oh my goodness my body is so sore. I started my intense workout program this week. I am happy as hell I got through this week : ) My goal is to get my body into the best shape its ever has been by my 40th birthday (July 19th)

Being a writer it seems like I am always sitting. And here lately I haven’t been exercising enough. I love going on very active trips. But, if I don’t discipline myself and keep up with my exercise program I am going to lose my stamina. I sure the hell don’t what that.
I love having curves, so I don’t plan on exercising so hard that I lose them.

This week has flown by it seems. I can’t believe it’s already Saturday. I have been writing so much this week my fingers are getting sore. But when a story is flowing I seem to lose track of time.

Happy Labor Day to U.S. Readers

I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend. It's the last hurrah of the summer.

This summer has been a little strange. First off it seemed to go by really fast. And secondly it has been a summer of deep thought for me. You know thinking about things like what direction I want to go with my life, how far I would like my career to go. Of course I would be ecstatic if sometime in the future I became a best selling author, but realistically few authors achieve such a career high as that. Not to say I won't keep working towards that goal. Right now as long as I have readers who enjoy my books I am very happy.

I don’t know what brought on this evaluation of my life, but it was much needed. I discovered there needs to be changes in my life. Now, I have a much clearer vision on what my future goals will be and how to make the changes that will improve my life considerably.


I am going to do something fun this Labor Day weekend. I want to enjoy this last part of summer.

Last night I had a little trouble sleeping, a bit too much coffee during the day. So, with this extra time I started to map out my goals for next year. I came up with quite an ambitious plan. The only problem is what books I was going to come out with. I have so many really good storylines floating around in my head. I do know for sure the next book in the Barbarians of Malka series will be one of the first books released next year. And of course the yearly anthology which will be titled Erotic Tales Volume II. Erotic Shiver Volume II will also be released next year as well, as for what other books I am just not sure yet. I guess I will leave it up to my muses which ones will be released.

I will be attending Dragon Con next year. This was a hard decision. I wanted to at least get one book/trade show in next year. It was between The Romantic Times Convention and Dragon Con, the deciding factor was my oldest son is graduating from high school next year and The Romantic Times book show is held too close to the time he graduates. I wish I could attend both, but there is no way I can.

I have so much I would like to get done next year. If I only get half of what I want to get done it will be a great year.
